Opening of phase 2 of Addiscombe Railway Park
13/03/2010 21:32:00

This morning, I attended the opening of phase 2 of Addiscombe Railway Park, linking Dalmally Passage and Blackhorse Lane tramstop. Addiscombe has a real lack of green spaces so it's really good news for local residents and particularly for many of the pupils at Woodside school who will be able to get to school with travelling along busy main roads.

The fact that the project has got to this stage is in large part thanks to the persistence of the excellent Addiscombe councillors Andrew Price, Maria Garcia and Russell Jackson.

Commenting on my blog

I welcome readers' comments on my blog. Unfortunately, sometimes people go too far and use blog sites to post comments which are abusive or defamatory to third parties. For this reason, your comments, posted using the form on this page, don't appear until they have been moderated, to make sure that they don't cross that line.

My policy is that I will always let comments appear from people who disagree with me, in a spirit of promoting reasoned debate. However, I will not allow comments to be posted which are defamatory to someone else, or which are racist, sexist, homophobic or otherwise likely to fail a 'public decency' test.

Consequently, there may be some hours delay after you post your comment until it appears on the public pages.
