Public meeting on regenerating Croydon town centre

Last night, I hosted a public meeting explaining the latest plans to regenerate Croydon town centre. I looked at the masterplans that the Council is drawing up for particular parts of the town centre (e.g. West Croydon, Old Town, East Croydon) and the latest applications (e.g. the Royal Mail’s plans for its site next to East Croydon station). And in particular I focused on Westfield and Hammerson’s plans to redevelop the Whitgift Centre, which are going to Planning Committee on 25th November.
