Lower Addiscombe Road Post Office to be upgraded
02/10/2013 11:36:00

The Post Office has decided, with the subpostmaster's agreement, to upgrade the Addiscombe Exchange Post Office at 311-313 Lower Addiscombe Road to one of their new main style branches.

This will mean a refurbished Post Office with a modern, open plan environment and longer opening hours on a Saturday (the current Post Office closes at 1pm; it will now stay open until 5.30pm). The same range of products and services will be available but certain Post Office services will also be available when the Post Office is closed but the shop is still open.

The Post Office will close for refurbishment at 5.30pm on Monday 21st October and re-open at 1pm on Friday 25th October. The shop will remain open as normal during this period.

Will we be able to get parcels picked up from it? Pain going all the way to East Croydon to get anything that is missed.
