After weaving its way around the country, the Olympic Torch is on the verge of travelling through our town.
Today the flame will enter the borough in Upper Norwood, thread its way toward North End stopping briefly at the Town Hall before heading to St Andrews School and out towards Sutton.

Approximate timings are as follows:
11.20am - Church Road, Upper Norwood
11.40am - South Norwood Hill
12.10pm - London Road (Earlswood Avenue junction)
12.20pm - North End, Croydon
12.30pm - Town Hall, Croydon
12.40pm - Lunch at St Andrews School, Warrington Road, Croydon
13.40pm - Lunch stop end
13.55pm - Leave borough
In total twenty four deserving runners will carry the torch as the relay comes through Croydon.
During the day a whole host of activities will be taking place in the town centre as part of 'Croydon's Big Get Together'.
