Another senior Labour figure comes out against Ken Livingstone
24/04/2012 23:27:00

Another day, another senior Labour figure saying they can’t vote for Ken Livingstone.

Today, it’s the turn of the renowned doctor, scientist and TV presenter Lord Robert Winston. Speaking on the BBC’s Daily Politics, he said that Ken is "quite a tricky sort of customer" who has "espoused some disastrous causes" adding that “some of his comments on international politics seem to me to be extremely unhealthy” and "I would have thought we would have had a fresher view about how London might be led...I'm not sure that the party interest is the key issue here. I think the person who represents London, their personality is actually very important".
