Meeting with the London Ambulance Service
09/09/2011 07:50:00

Yesterday I met with the management of the London Ambulance Service to hear how they intend to continue to improve health outcomes during this period of austerity. We had a good discussion about response times for stroke patients (the previous Government decided hyper-acute stroke patients should be taken to St George’s in Tooting, not Croydon University Hospital, and there has been a concern that in rush hour some patients don’t get there within the recommended 40 minutes). They promised to provide the latest figures - I'll post them when I have them.
