Against my better judgement, I've been persuaded to start tweeting.

For the uninitiated, Twitter is a social networking website that enables you to communicate messages, known as 'tweets', of less than 140 characters. There are about 93 million users worldwide, about 3.5 million of whom are in the UK (which means there ought to be about 5,000 in Croydon Central).

When I posted my first tweet a few minutes ago, I was amazed to see that there are already 92 people following me. No doubt they are all journalists who won't pay the slightest bit of attention to what I say unless I make a gaffe...

Anyway if you want to recieve my tweets, you can sign up here.
