Public meeting on the future of Shirley Library
31/01/2011 15:24:00

As part of its consultation on the future of 6 of the borough’s 12 branch libraries – Bradmore Green, Broad Green, Norbury, Sanderstead, Shirley and South Norwood - the Council has organised a public meeting at Shirley Parish Hall at 7pm on Wednesday night.

I have previously posted that, whilst I am very sympathetic to the difficult financial position that the Council finds itself in, I am opposed to the closure of Shirley Library. I'll be at the meeting tomorrow and hope to see many of you there too.
