An enforced rest
30/12/2010 21:30:00

Apologies for the lack of posts since Christmas Day. I’ve been ill since Boxing Day - I somehow managed to get an infection in my hand, which spread right up my arm. Many thanks to the staff at the new Edridge Road Community Health Centre (which I happened to know is open to walk-in patients 365 days a year because I opened it six weeks ago!), whose prompt care managed to prevent me being admitted to hospital. Looking on the bright side, being unwell has at least ensured that I’ve had a good rest and made a start on the huge pile of books I got for Christmas...
