Recycle your Christmas tree
21/12/2010 16:42:00

With 976,000 Christmas trees thrown away in London alone each year, it’s important that we remember to recycle our Christmas tree.

If you buy a real Christmas tree, you can take it for recycling to one of the collection points below on Sunday 2nd or Sunday 9th January or you can take it to one of the three Reuse and Recycling Centres (Facotory Lane, Fishers Farm or Purley Oaks):

Co-op, Lower Addiscombe Road

Ashburton Park (Tenterden Road entrance)

Oaks Road/Coombe Road car park

Addington Park car park

Central Parade car park

Monks Orchard green

Green Court Gardens green

Please remove tinsel and decorations!
