Canning and Clyde Road Residents Association AGM
20/05/2010 22:25:00

I attended the Annual General Meeting of the Canning and Clyde Road Residents Association this evening, which was held at Edward Jobson Court. Residents from Edward Jobson Court were keen to thank their neighbours for their support on the night of the fire which tragically claimed one resident's life. The way people responded that night is evidence of the strong sense of community in this part of Croydon. Lots of issues were raised including the future of East Croydon, the East India estate conservation area, the Council's plans for a new HQ and the future of Mayday.
