The team spent today finishing off some outstanding bits of delivery. Then in the evening, we tried to add to our already record breaking poster display, identifying a further 25 sites which will go up in the morning.

Nationally, the news has been dominated by various Labour Ministers encouraging Liberal Democrat supporters in straight Labour Conservative races like Croydon Central to vote tactically to stop the Conservatives winning.

I don't think there's anything wrong with encouraging people to vote tactically - after all, that is our approach to Andrew Pelling supporters here in Croydon Central - but I do think Ed Balls, Peter Hain and co have misread the mood of the electorate. In this seat, most of the Liberal Democrat supporters are pretty clear they don't want another five years of Gordon Brown. If they are going to vote tactically, it is going to be against Labour, not for it.
