Improving Ashburton Park
08/01/2010 18:02:00

Although Ashburton Park narrowly missed out on the ‘Parks to be proud of’ vote, the Council is investing £95,000 to redevelop the playground and toilet facilities.

It has received a number of designs for the playground and would like to ask local residents for their opinions. There will therefore be a display at Ashburton Library on Tuesday and on Thursday. A Council officer will be available to answer your queries on Thursday from 11am-5pm.

The toilets will be refurbished, providing access for the disabled and baby changing facilities. The area around the toilet block will also be improved to deter vandalism and misuse.
