Croydon LINk
13/01/2010 18:20:00

On 28th January, there is a meeting to agree the terms of reference and key roles of Croydon LINk. Local Involvement Networks (LINks) were established under the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007 to improve the involvement of local communities in the scrutiny of health and social care arrangements in each local authority area. Each county and unitary local authority has a statutory obligation under the Act to ensure that there is a functioning LINk in its area and to appoint an independent organisation to act as host to the LINk.

If you have strong views about local health and social care services and would like to attend the meeting, you need to register as a member, which you can do here.
