Planning consultation for Heathfield Academy
27/05/2015 14:46:00

A planning application for one of the new schools planned by the last Conservative Council has recently been submitted to the Council.

Situated on Aberdeen Road in central Croydon, it will be called the Heathfield Academy and will be run by STEP Academy Trust who already run several schools in Croydon including Wolsey Junior School, Applegarth Primary and Gonville Academy. If granted permission, two Reception classes will be admitted in September this year and the school will gradually fill up over a six year period.

Full details of the planning application can be seen on the Council's website.

If you wish to comment on the application (either by supporting it or raising objections to it), send your views to development.management@croydon.gov.uk before the deadline of 16th June 2015.

For more details about the school, see http://www.stepacademytrust.org/our-academies/heathfield-academy/
