A Budget full of bad news
12/03/2008 22:58:00

Today the Chancellor had a chance to help people out. It looks like we may be in for some difficult times but instead of easing the burden on people to help them cope he increased taxes yet again - by £110 for the average family. The Government should have used the good times we have enjoyed in recent years to put some money aside for a rainy day like this but instead they let borrowing get out of control. Now we’re going to have to pay the price. If you’re interested there’s some excellent detailed coverage of the Budget here.
